On my way to get MARRIED!

So there was a long trek across the whole hotel to get to the wedding site from my room. Also it had actually rained on and off during our stay and we were all so happy that we had a gorgeous sunny day!

Rob's photographer senses stopped me right here to snag some great shots.

...and here's the money shot.

Kinda looks like one of those wedding dress shopping pics

here you can get a closer look at the detail in my earrings that matches the veil.

Wedding Day Prep time: Bride make up and dress

I had actually come down with a cold and then a massive cold sore the day before the Wedding... Not fun at all, but thanks to the reassurance from our friend Rob, he let my nerves calm with one word: Photoshop!

So I decided to do my own make up, because I'm picky that way. I chose to keep things simple and in line with our Wedding colors of white and turquoise. I love that I found a Lise Watier 24 HRS Glam eyeliner in green. This is the pop of color I was looking for. I paired this with Lise Watier lip liner in Rose Romantique 463 and lipstick in Caprice. All waterproof of course. Then, gotta love Costco cuz I found Borghese mineral foundation with spf 20 and extact match concealer and finishing powder for $20.

Oh! and I totally forgot about the flowers i was supposed to have in my hair. I had gone back, and had these lovely 'coffee flowers' as they called them added from their garden. So cute and perfect!

I had done my own nails- cuz I'm picky like that too. I made french nails with a sparkle. I used OPI Alpine Snow for the white and OPI Which is Witch. This is by far my fave sparkle from OPI cuz it has different pieces that gives it more sparkle!

I had asked my mother in law to make my veil and she did it beautifully. It has scalloped edges and flows down past the tail of my dress. Each scallop has a flower and drop shaped jewels. I was able to find the same matching flower jewel for my earrings at the top.

Now I'm ready to go get married!

Wedding Day Prep time: Groom

Here's a preview on what went on the men's side.

Wedding Day Prep time: Bride Hair

So the Big Day has arrived! Here's a preview of what went on.

Hair time! I've got my picture ready, and waiting on the other brides to finish up to have my turn.

The transformation begins...

Day before the wedding Part 2: Henna Night

We decided to have a henna night the day before the wedding. It's not originally an Armenian tradition, although it's fun to get everyone together and mingle beforehand. We first had dinner at the Asian restaurant, and then moved over to the main dining hall for henna.

Day before the wedding Part 1- Cool Runnings

When we had first arrived at the RIU Ocho Rios, we were welcomed so warmly. our Sunwing rep Mama Sandra quickly sold me on the Cool Runnings excursion which is perfect to get all our guests pumped and excited before the wedding. Boy was she right! I will certainly do this same excursion the next time I'm in Jamaica. This trip takes you over to a catamaran where you'll snorkel to see some beautiful fish and coral. Next is climbimg the famous Dunn's River Falls, and then party, party, party on the boat. This is a whole day truly filled of fun, and then alcohol and more fun. lol.
